IPRT Company Assistance

The Institute for Physical Research and Technology (IPRT) helps Iowa companies commercialize new technologies by collaborating with university resources to perform proof-of-concept research in which the source of the technology can be the company or ISU intellectual property.

Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer and Iowa State University Research Foundation

The Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer (OIPTT) and the Iowa State University Research Foundation, Inc. (ISURF) work in concert to manage, market and license the inventive and creative works developed by Iowa State University's employees and students and to transfer these works for the benefit of society.  ISURF also licenses plant germplasm developed at Iowa State University.

Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship

The ISU Pappajohn Center for Entrepreneurship, in partnership with the ISU Small Business Development Center (SBDC), provides business assistance services to companies that are being formed based on ISU technologies.

SBIR/STTR Assistance

Assistance in matching companies to federal research topic solicitations, identifying subcontract possibilities, and reviewing proposals is available for technology-based businesses working with ISU.
